Data Management Project Manager (Part-Time) | Temporary 4-6 Months | Onsite | Santa Rosa, CA | $40/hour
We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Management Project Manager to support a grant-funded initiative with a respected Northern California education organization. This role involves managing student and insurance-related records, validating data, maintaining electronic records, and supporting project tracking and reporting.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with large volumes of information, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with spreadsheets and databases, and the ability to prepare accurate reports and track project progress while handling confidential information with discretion.

Assignment Details
- Start Date: As soon as possible, pending fingerprint clearance
- Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per week; flexible scheduling during normal business hours
- Location: Onsite in Santa Rosa, CA, near SMART
- Duration: Approximately 4-6 months
- Background Check: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and fingerprint clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain student and insurance-related records within electronic systems and spreadsheets.
- Perform high-volume data entry, validation, and record reconciliation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review information from paper and electronic sources and ensure records are complete, accurate, and current.
- Verify missing insurance information using available tools and resources.
- Enter and maintain data within the organization's electronic record management systems, including Paradigm and Student Health Network.
- Review explanations of payments and accurately track information within spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Monitor project progress and maintain reports identifying completed work, outstanding items, and next steps.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to identify discrepancies, missing information, and data inconsistencies.
- Organize and maintain confidential records in accordance with department protocols and privacy requirements.
- Collaborate with program staff to support ongoing project goals and data-management needs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong data management, records management, or administrative support experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Drive.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, tracking, and data organization.
- Experience working with databases, record management systems, or similar platforms.
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Background in administrative project support or program coordination preferred.
